More Info at:
In light of Microsoft's announcement of "Xbox Game Room" we, the avid gamers of the Xbox Live Community, refuse to purchase retro-style games for a premium price. Most of us, already Xbox Live Gold members, cannot support a price model of $5.00 for games that are freely available online, some of which by the very partners involved in this venture. Examples:
http://www.atari.com/arcade
http://www.intellivisiongames.com/
http://www.konami-play.com/
In short, we will not buy these repackaged classic games.
Note: When signing please include your Xbox Gamertag.

- I don't mind paying a *little* for the game, but $0.50 for two plays is stupid.

- I'm tired of paying for everything on Xbox Live when I already pay $50 premium just to access stuff I have to pay for again.

- Gamertag: IRCheesecake82 - This is getting a bit more than ridiculous. With all the money that is already being made, I think you could afford to lower the prices of these games at the VERY least.

- *rant mode on* I regret to have purchased 2 games for game room out of sentimental reasons already. I think to get to 1000G you are forced to buy at least 20 games, which equals 4800 MSP, provided you buy them for the Xbox platform only. That's by far too much for such old games, some of which were crap even back in the days. And I know what I'm talking about, the Atari 2600 was my first console. To make things worse for us Europeans, over here everything is often more expensive anyway, because they just replace $ with , shamelessly without converting the value! I wouldn't mind to pay 80 MSP for a good console game or 240 msp for a true arcade classic, but 80\% of the games currently available for game room should really be free, they are a waste of time and really not worth a dime today, not even a penny. This is all only a new way for companies to gain a higher profit from their back catalogue by selling each game separately instead of compilations! And that's what I call a rip-off! *rant mode off*
