Dear Microsoft,
We, the undersigned, protest that the 120 GB Xbox 360 Hard Drives are too expensive. Many of us want to purchase the 120 GB HDD and we definitely would without a second thought if not for the price. We want to have additional storage space and be able to get more Xbox Live software as a result.
With constant additional content added to the Xbox 360 we desire the Hard Drives to lower in price so that we can buy them and fully enjoy the features such as installing our Xbox 360 games onto the Hard Drive. We struggle to make space for our 20 GB Hard Drives, constantly deleting things that we would rather keep, but we don't want to pay so much to get the 120 HDD.
Forums often compare the situation with the Playstation 3, saying that getting a Hard Drive for that is much cheaper then getting a 360-only unit. With the 120 GB HDD being more affordable we would be able to do a lot more and be much happier.

- It's unbelievable that I can get a new system for $300 but a 120 Gb hard drive by itself is $150. Do you not want us to have the extra capacity to BUY more stuff on Xbox live?

- I have to be honest with you! I am not buying a $160 120 gig HDD not now not ever. When I can buy a PS3 for $299 now. You would think Microsoft would learn a thing or two! They had the hardcore gamer won this generation until they started screwing up and doing sick moves like this! PS3 at the rate that it is selling will be #1 by the time this is over. Noone is going to buy a hard drive for half the price of an elite when they can buy an elite! Also I will not buy an Elite this 360 has lasted me this long without effing up do you think I am going to run a risk of buying another one of your shoddy consoles and get the RROD in three months in order for you to tell me you are not going to fix it and me have to buy another one.....for the third time? You should give me a 120 gig hard drive for the crap I have been put through your system has a 60\% fail rate and every time I turn it on I have to say a hail mary and pray for forgiveness for all the wrongs I have committed in the past so karma doesn't throw me a rr

- There's no reason why the price should be this high. It's a standard 2.5 inch hard drive. It's quite easy to find a comparable drive with more than twice the capacity at half the cost. You should sell at cost to encourage Live software downloads.
