We condemn the use of violence by club bouncers.
Zouk Malaysia has to know, practice this, and take responsibility for their actions.
There is no excuse good enough to assault, injure or harm patrons or individuals.

- Assult is Assult, and bouncers who cause physical harm should be charged under assult laws. If the bouncers are worried about their rights then install cameras in the location so that the management can justify the actions of its staff.

- This is going against our human rights. Nobody shall punish anybody if he/she is not proven guilty. Not a single touch.

- I got this from the story of the couple in the blog. I do not believe her story as I find some weird facts about it, but I still agree that violence should not be allowed.

- How could they treat a lady and a fainting man like that? Clearly they were out to abuse their power and may be rob them. I'm not going to go to zouk anymore as a sign of protest. And I will ask my friends to do so too.

- Unjustified public humiliation is a disgrace to our country. It must be stopped at all cost. Stop protecting the guilty and put them in the face of law

- Bouncers do not have the right to hit someone unless they felt there was a threat to their safety. What sort of threat would a helpless girl and her sick boyfriend have on 4 bouncers? Malaysian definitely needs to have better regulation to ensure safety of patrons in clubs and pubs.

- There is no excuse for anyone to beat up a defenceless woman and her partner. No excuse at all. No woman should be beaten up by ANY man not to mention four bouncers! This is atrocious and makes me sick to my stomach! The way that the company 'Zouk' has been acting in response to these allegations are appalling. Serious legal action should be taken against Zouk and their employees. I am sad to even say that I am Malaysian after hearing about this incident. If the Malaysian courts, law and people show no mercy to the couple and in fact side with 'Zouk' then it is said to say that people nowadays can even get away with murder. God bless the both of you, James and Ju-Lee and my heart goes out to the both of you. Stay strong and persevere.

- Definately will support this, bouncers in Malaysia are way too violent and unreasonable. Clubs like Zouk should not hire such stupid people just because their big fat figure, hire people with atleast half a brain! Club Bouncers in Malaysia are mostly retards. What they did to James happens all the time in KL. There's definately need for the law to step in, why have a club scene here if it means bouncers can just beat up anybody they see fit? It's like terrorism.
