Pirate Wolfpack Football Trophy

We, the undersigned, respectfully request a study be conducted regarding the creation of a trophy to be awarded to the winning team at the end of each football contest between North Carolina State University and East Carolina University.

We feel a natural rivalry exists between these two schools which generates excitement in the community and fosters immense school pride amongst the students and faculty. A trophy that remains with the victor until the next meeting of the teams would serve as a tangible reminder of the competitive spirit that is displayed each time these two talented programs face off.

Ideally, the trophy would be something that is of significance to both schools. It is also our hope that input from the communities of both schools will be used in determining the specifics of the trophy. Thank you for your consideration.
