We are writing to implore that you rethink your decision to possibly cast American socialite Paris Hilton as the Blessed Mother Theresa of Calcutta in your upcoming movie.

We have read that you believe Ms. Hilton a good choice for the part because of her refusal to pose in Playboy magazine. While that, at first glance, appears noble, you must also realize that Paris has posed, half-clothed, in a number of other men's magazines. While they do not show nudity in these magazines, they are still extremely provocative and sexual in nature.

Mother Theresa was a remarkable woman who devoted her life to helping others. Paris Hilton, at least as the media portrays her, is a selfish, insipid woman who first came into her "fame" for appearing in a leaked sex video. Her other notable accomplishments have been starting a perfume line named after her, publishing a book on how to be rich and spoiled, and trademarking her favorite phrase, "That's hot". The only philanthropic thing she appears to have done was to donate the money made from her sex tape to a handful of charities. Surely this isn't the kind of woman you would choose to play the Mother Theresa?

We believe that choosing a woman such as Paris Hilton to portray Mother Theresa would be an insult to this great woman's name and all of the wonderful things she has done. Please, we beg of you, do not choose Paris Hilton as your star.
