Measure Description: This measure amends the Phoenix City Charter to implement a Schulze method ranking voting system to ensure majority representation in one election.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO THOSE WHO WANT TO SIGN:

This advisory petition may be signed only by registered voters in Phoenix, Arizona. The Yes on I-1-08 campaign (sponsoring this advisory petition) is also circulating a binding petition in the city of Phoenix that you can find here: http://inclusive.phoenixvotereform.com/phx_charter_petition.pdf If you want to sign it (or want your friends/neighbors, etc. to sign) You must print it double-sided on legal-size (8.5 x 14) paper and notarize it on the reverse side once you are done circulating it. Then, email phxschulze@yahoo.com and we'll figure out how to get the petition from you to the campaign. The "real" petition requires a signature threshold of 14,696 valid signatures. We, of course, will continue to collect signatures for the "real" petition in person. We, the undersigned, citizens and qualified electors of the City of Phoenix, State of Arizona, respectfully demand, on an advisory basis, that the following proposed measure (or amendment to the Charter of the City of Phoenix), shall be submitted to the qualified electors of the City of Phoenix, State of Arizona for their approval or rejection at the next regular election, if held within six months, or a special city election and each for himself says: I have personally signed this petition with my first and last names. I have not signed any other petition for the same measure. I am a qualified elector of the City of Phoenix, County of Maricopa, State of Arizona.
