increase turnover limit for tax audit

The government of India must increase the turnover limit of Rs. forty lacs for statutory income tax and sales tax audit. Both these audits cost a lot in terms of professional fee to C.A. and other lawers plus enormous paper work and time for small organisations like us. We do not mind if the government makes it optional and charge some turnover tax instead of audit. We feel it will increase INCOME TAX and SALES TAX REVENUE to Goverment as so many small companies make all sorts of effort to remain out of the net of audit to avoid the hassle and expences involved in these audits.
