We, the loyal football fans who generate millions of pounds of revenue for your 'product', hereby request that you reconsider your plan to play a 39th league game abroad each season. This is a ludicrous idea, and one that may have disastrous long-term consequences for the game in England.





We love football because it is a beautiful game, not because it is a global brand - money is killing the game as we know it, and this plan hammers yet another nail into the coffin. UEFA president Michel Platini has already called the plans a 'joke', and we agree entirely with him.





Please come to your senses and forget about a 39th game. It won't work, and would only serve to make the Premier League an international laughing stock.
