To the Honorable Members of the Philippine Senate and Congress,
We are the concerned Filipino Respiratory Therapy Practitioners. Some of us work as a respiratory therapist but our professional category, especially in the Middle East alone is only as a technician. Technician as a NON-REGULATED PROFESSION from our county. If the Respiratory Therapy profession is legalized and regulated by our government there will be a big change, not only in financial matters but also in employment security for all Filipino Respiratory Therapist employed in our country and in abroad alike.
The purpose of this letter is to address to all the members of the Lower and Upper house for immediate legalization and regulation of the Respiratory Therapy profession. Your immediate actions about the Philippine RTBill will be much appreciated not only by present Respiratory Therapist but also by the future generation of this profession.
