bring back traditional animation to dreamworks |
To: DreamWorks Animation SKGALOT of people think all dreamworks did were CGI BUT In 1998, DreamWorks released their first full-length {Traditional animated film}, The Prince of Egypt. which made $218,613,188 worldwide.. and assuming to be one of the best movies at dreamworks which was done in the Traditional animation. in 2000 another Traditional animatied movie was made entitled The Road to El Dorado which 50,802,661 worldwide..in 2002 Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron made 73,215,310 worldwide at the box office. in 2003 Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas.. made 26.5 million {even though it made 75 million worldwide} Because of this, it is the last traditionally-animated feature film made by DreamWorks. Additionally, the film's poor performance led Jeffrey Katzenberg to proclaim that traditional animation was dead. and led to the american public were more intrested in Computer animation. well people that are into the Traditional animation, and like movies that were made in fully who are into Traditional animation, or Traditional animation and live action. We think that Fully CGI movies and Traditional animated movies should be done 50/50. Because CGI movies like shrek{made 267,652,016 worldwide}, Over the hedge{155,019,340}, Monster House {73,661,010},Sherk the thrid{794.4 million} Bee movie{126,597,121} and Shark Tale{367 million worldwide}. these Fully CGI movies made a ton of money and all of that is enough to make either a fully traditional animated movie or Animated/live action movie.. and dreamworks doesn't care about it.. so we fans of Classic Animation would LOVE to see dreamworks make either a Fully 2D animated or animated with live action film.. so please dreamworks give Traditional animation a chance please? let the public decide if hand animation is dead or not..
Sincerely,
