Petition Against the Port Dalhousie Tower

We, the undersigned, continue to oppose the Ontario Municipal Boards decision to approve the project known as Port Place.

Some of us are adults who have spent our lives in Port, creating lifelong memories.
Some of us are children who are just beginning to enjoy trips to the unbelievable, two level candy store and who love begging mommy and daddy for ice cream or frozen yogurt!
Some of us remember the excitement of finally being able to experience Hogans Alley; dancing under the stars to the music playing, sharing a drink with friends sitting right outside.
Some of us cant wait for those endless summers spent under the sun.
Some of us love that small town feeling that we get from the moment we cross the bridge from St. Catharines into Port.
Some of us have spent hours browsing those unique stores, holding treasures that cant be found anywhere else.
Some of us have had the opportunity to appreciate local talent at our cozy theatre in Port.
Some of us dont mind waiting those few extra minutes for a spot in an already packed parking lot to enjoy this lakeside community, not to stand in the shadow of a skyscraper.
Some of us love strolling down the pier taking our dogs for a walk, holding hands with a special someone or just having a fun, innocent time with some good friends.

And all of us recognize Port Dalhousie for the unique, irreplaceable, beautiful, historical, priceless treasure that it is.
This place cannot be destroyed.

We cannot see our city without the Port Dalhousie that we know and love. Please take the necessary steps to protect this magical place that lives in the hearts of so many people around the world.
