To:  Division of Parks and Recreation

The New Hampshire Parks Advisory Council has put Pisgah State Park on the "C" list for alternative management which could include disposal, leasing, or concession among other options that focus on removing Pisgah from the State Park system. The Division of Parks and Recreation is extending the deadline for public comment about the Ten-Year Strategic and Capital Improvement Plan to July 20, 2009. In order for the plan to be successful, the Division strongly feels that feedback from the public is crucial.

Find out what this plan is really about. ASK Why is the Park on the alternative management list? Why was there no Public Meeting in the geographical center of Cheshire County, Keene, but two in the central area in Concord and Peterborough? Which other Parks are on the "C" list and why? Read what others are saying. What does this policy of disposing of State Public Parks mean for people in NH?

27 other NH Parks could be up for grabs.
Ask the questions you need Parks and Recreation to answer.
Tell Parks and Recreation why Pisgah Park is so valuable to you.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
