To all developers and vendors of Pocket PC software:

Many users in the Pocket PC community have a problem. We are tired of developers and vendors giving us .exe files for Pocket PC software. This is extremely annoying for the following reasons:
1. Not everybody has a PC
2. Many including myself, travel with a Pocket PC only.
3. Its too much of a hastle to fireup the PC and install. These installers take up space on the PC as well.
4. Most of these do not require some kind of a conduit on the pc.

So you see, by distributing exe files instead of cab files makes life more complicated. If software developers and vendors would make changes to thier websites to allow downloads for both .cab and .exe files then people like the author of this petition and the undersigned would download and probably buy more software, Even if it includes a conduit. Most the time, the conduit is not necessary. Many times, Pocket PC devices include a connection to the internet.
So please, vendors and developers, make .cab files more readily available.
