Required Construction of only Even Numbered Amounts of Stairs

To:  Canadian Parliament

I implore the Canadian Government to pass a law making it illegal to construct staircases of anything other than an even number of steps. Odd numbers of steps lead to unwanted tripping, injury, and death. For those of us that run up staircases, is it essential that this matter be resolved before it is too late. It is time for change.
