Support Nigerian Anti-Graft and EFCC

Fellow Nigerians and Friends:

The recent arrest of Tafa Balogun, the sacking of the Minster of Education, Professor Fabian Osuji, and the revelation of the Ikoyi Housing scam, leading to the termination of Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Mrs. Mobolaji Osomo is unprecedented in Nigerian history.

We duly commend these anti-graft efforts. Notably, we commend the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and the leadership of Mr. Nuhu Ribadu. We urge that these investigations continue to follow the due process of law, and for the anti-graft war to be fought in a non-discriminatory manner. No Nigerian must be above the law!

We urge the Nigerian government to do all that is necessary to safeguard the Individual safety of Mr. Nuru Ribadu and his associates at the EFCC as they embark on the dangerous duty of ridding Nigeria of corrupt practices. No harm must come to the person of Mr. Nuru Ribadu or his associates at the EFCC.

We ask well meaning Nigerians to join hands with Mr. Ribadu, and for other Nigerian Law Enforcement bodies such as the Nigerian Police and the Independent Corrupt [practice Commission (ICPC) to take example from EFCC. As a nation, we have no choice; the fight against institutionalized corruption must be won. Ribadu must not fail! Nigeria must not fail!
