In 2009 WWE announced that the name of the WWE PPV One Night Stand would be changed to Extreme Rules And the Great American Bash was changed to the Bash, this was OK as it was a simple name change.
Later that year WWE Got rid of 5 PPVS Unforgiven, No Mercy, Armageddon, No Way Out and to the most dissapointment Cyber Sunday.
4 were normal PPVs and Cyber Sunday was a PPV Where Fans voted for match stipulations.
NWO was replaced by Elimination Chamber for a Elimination Chamber themed PPV where all Main events are Elimination Chamber Matchs.
Same for Armageddon which was changed to TLC where all Main events were TLC
Breaking Point was introduced as an all Submission based PPV
Hell in a Cell was introduced as an all Hell in a Cell Main event PPV
Breaking Point was introduced as a poor rip off of Survivor Series

These PPVS have ruined WWE originality and PPVs have no more excitement as all the matches are the same.
