We, the undersigned, are all fans of the television series 'QI' broadcast by the BBC and produced by Talkback THAMES productions. At the time of writing this petition (30th August 2009) only the first three series of the television program 'QI' are available to purchase on DVD for personal viewing, mainly by Warner Music Entertainment. However, no episodes made since 2006 onwards have been released commercially.

We would like all of the other series of the TV show broadcast so far Series D (Series 4) onwards to become available for purchase and would gladly buy them when this happens. If additional or previously unseen content could be included on such a product then this would also be greatly received.

The show 'QI' is popular and is becoming increasingly so. Apart from the TV series, a series of books have been made by the people behind the show. The first of these, "The Book of General Ignorance", is the fourth best selling book on Amazon.com ever. In 2008 the series successfully transferred from BBC Two to BBC One, indicating that the show is now becoming a mainstream success.

The series has also won several awards including the Rose d'Or for "Best Game Show Host" in 2006; two British Comedy Guide Awards for "Best TV Panel Show/Satire" in 2006 and 2007; the Royal Television Society Award in "Entertainment" in 2008; and two Televisual Bulldog Awards for "Best Panel, Quiz or Chat Show" in 2008 and 2009. Therefore we believe that a DVD product of the as yet unreleased series would sell successfully.

We wish to be able to enjoy the genius of the show, its guests and its producers again and again at our leisure, but currently we only have a small selection of their work.

We would like to remind the bodies responsible for releasing the first three series that it was via a similar internet petition that the first series of 'QI' was released. We therefore feel that a similar petition will bring about our request.

Therefore we request that the BBC, Talkback THAMES, Warner Music Entertainment and other relevant bodies or parties take action to bring the rest of this fantastic programme to DVD.
