A More Diverse Daytime

We, the undersigned, are petitioning for a more diverse Daytime cast. It is also our desire to have the roles of minorities be more realistic. We are petitioning as a UNITED front. This is America, and we are all Americans. It is time that Daytime programming caught up with the 22nd century.

We are specifically targeting the ABC daytime programming. Those of us who are viewers are unhappy with the lack of representation of minorities on the daytime programs. What few minorities there are often are stereotyped, underused, written out, or completely disrespected.

There are so many different nationalities in this country. To utilize a majority of one is to exclude or ignore all other nationalities. There is no one group of people that is any more important than another. Please join us in creating more diversified shows.
