Life in Prison (No Parole) for Richard Poplawski

To:  Allegheny County District Attorney

On April 4, 2009 Three police officers were killed by a gunman in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The officers were responding to an emergency call from the house of the gunman, named as Richard Poplawski, 23.

This petitiion is in no way to justfy his actions - but to call for him not to be given the death penalty and for him to be given life in prison instead.

State sanctioned murder is in no way going to help what has happened, nor will it help anybody, those that suffer will purely be the family and those who know Richard Poplawski - and why should they be punished for an individual's actions?
