Given that:

- The current Medicare Health Insurance System will soon be bankrupt if changes are not made to the system,

- Every citizen of the United States of America should be provided the ability to purchase reasonably priced health care insurance, independent of their age, sex, and existing health conditions,

- Without some form of health insurance reform, the cost of health insurance will continue to rise at a rate that will make it unaffordable by an increasing larger percentage of the electorate.

- Efforts by our elected members of Congress to defeat proposed Health Insurance Reform legislation do not reflect the desires of the majority of citizens who elected them to Congress;

We, the undersigned, pledge to withhold their votes to re-elect any member of the United States Senate or House of Representatives that votes against Health Insurance Reform legislation currently being discussed in the 111th Congress.
