We the registered Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Independents, and more often, completely non-political citizens who organized and participated in the national Tea Party Movement were shocked, appalled, and disgusted with your exceedingly dishonest comments disparaging our cause as "astroturf." We hereby reject and condemn your provably bald-faced lies about us being a fringe, manufactured, right-wing movement, "funded by the high end," and demand either an immediate retraction and apology for this deliberate slander or one iota of proof that Tea Parties across this country weren't funded and conducted by the local organizers who put them together, along with occasional donations from fellow protesters, and rarely, anything beyond that.

We have receipts, you have your ultra-partisan, Soros-funded misinformation sites. So let's see it. We call your bluff. Either back up your claims with something other than the word of dishonest smear factories like ThinkProgress, or stop prioritizing Democrat power over an honest debate on the inexcusable tripling of the national debt...in just a few short months...under what you told us would be "the most honest, most open, most ethical Congress in history."
