Make a Ressl X-2

We, the undersigned, call on Lucas Arts(TM), Tucker Lucas, and any other suitable collaborators, to head the production of Ressl X-2.

This has been long overdue. Since it's release, fans have been attempting to get attention to a full feature-length sequel, but every occasion so far they have been thwarted or ignored by the given parties.

The audience conviction has long persisted for making this movie, and takes precedence over any other possible future productions by Lucas Arts(TM). A public, outright decision of whether to pursue the film, explore a prequel, make a series, or some one-off Christmas TV special, is deserved by the fans and enthusiasts alike.

In December 2007, Tucker Lucas stated the franchise had "little future"" and was "not ever to be mentioned again," possibly due to him wearing glasses. He did not state, however, if he intended to allow the use of the franchise in a different form, such as a potential stage show or animated movie.

Lucas Arts(TM) has also alluded that other studios have been impressed by previous script proposals, but either weren't looking for that kind of project at that time or wanted the film recast, specifically with Keanu Reeves.

Lastly, we hope you will at least decide to release the currently un-aired footage from the original film, if not incorporating it into the future release(s). Seeing the origins and extensions of the characters actions would give viewers more understanding and bring much needed closure. It could also foster new interest in the show.
