Give us the Spore we want!

3 years ago (2005) we saw a 35 minutes long demonstration of spore. Gamers opened their eyes in total awe, and didn't believe the perfect nature of the game and its realism. From a single cell, to a swimming creature, to walking on land, to mating and evolving a tribe, for so to grow technology to either make friends with the whole world, or conquer it with fierce power. And then you could travel to space and discover new planets and make more friends/enemies and then have the whole galaxy before you, for you to explore.

Many thought it was so beautiful that it almost moved them to tears by the thought "Finally, a perfect evolving game!" but those tears were soon to be tears of despair. As the game developed it was completely ruined, because of modern hype of selling to all ages, which in reality makes a game less appealing for the majority of gamers: The youth. The water stage was removed, the graphics and the creatures movements were severely reduced for a lesser feeling of realism, blood was removed, and the already kind of strange and unnatural mating, was turned into silly dance which in NO POSSIBLE WAY could fertilize anything. In addition the game forces you to install something called “SecuROM” that limits you to 3 installs and blocks your burning programs.

It is highly imaginable that EA lost hundreds of millions because of disappointed youth who wouldn't even think of buying this game, and also a lot of adults who are into evolving games but thought the game got too childish. Many of the enthusiastic buyers that saw this game in 2005 might now not even consider buying it, seeing as in many places: playing childrens games is embarrassing after a certain age.

This petition is for the people who want Will Wright to see his fatal mistake, and make a new version of this game that is more like the one we saw in 2005. In other words, this if for the people who so dearly wanted this game, but had to unwillingly watch the game turn into a graphically and technologically disaster. So if you cannot stop thinking about how awesome it would've been with a spore like you saw in 2005 or an even better more mature one (then I'm thinking from 12+ and up) sign this petition, and hope Will Wright actually will come to his senses!
