We, the undersigned, believe that the preservation of no. 9, Madryn street, Dingle, Liverpool, UK, birthplace and childhood home of the Beatle's drummer, Ringo Starr would be in the interests of British heritage and national tourism. We have recently heard reports that the house would be demolished due to a rejuvenation programme the area is undergoing, and we would like to petition the National Trust to look into saving the house, as they have preserved the childhood homes of John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

This small house has long been a tourist attraction for Beatles fans and has been featured on many Beatles tours of Liverpool. We would prefer to take our photos outside Ringo's actual house, instead of the site where it used to be!

We hope that the house will be preserved as the piece of history it is.
