"Stand" up for our Independence!!

To:  U.S. Congress

Currently in most parts of Utah there are not enough skilled facilities to help those of us Young Adults who need help with our daily needs. In order to get into an assisted living apartment, you need to have and Elderly insurance. On top of that, you need to qualify for this insurance by spending a mandatory 90 days in a skilled nursing facility. My question to you is Why do Us young adults need to spend time in a nursing home? Most of us have spent a lot of our lives in hospitals and don’t need the depressing environment of a nursing home to take our Independence away from us! Please help me save our Independence, help me “stand” up for our rights! I have written a letter to the Governor of Utah asking him to talk and help me find a solution to this! I need you to back me up, Please support me in making this change and making the world better for all of us whether disabled or abled! Help me make a stand!
