RRISD Change in Calendar

To:  Round Rock ISD Calendar Committee

We, the undersigned, feel that Round Rock Independent School District's current calendar policy, as well as the tentative drafts for the future calendars, are not favorable to students, teachers, and parents. We, instead, would like a specific change to the calendar policy. We propose to have the first semester end before the winter break, thus having exams before the break. This would, of course, entail changing other aspects of the calendar. However, we feel that this change would benefit everyone participating in the Round Rock Independent School District. Finally, we feel that we have a legitimate say in our school district's policy, as we are students/teachers/parents of this district, and our voice should be recognized and listened to.
