My name is Aren Hill, a Rush fan who loves nothing more than to experience the sublime vigour of music in all of its forms.

Whether the simple act of listening to a C.D at home, or being among other music lovers in a sea of bodies at a live show, music is the one constant in my life that continues to inspire, motivate, and stimulate me above everything else.

Over the years I have seen many of my favorite bands perform live, including Steely Dan, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band and Tool. I remember every show with great fondness, the adrenaline fuelled high lasting for days after the show, the memory of each song burned in my head.

There is one band however that has yet to visit the land of ‘down under’ and grace us with their talents, and that is the amazing trio of progressive rock geniuses known simply as ‘Rush’.

As any fan will testify, the shear force of your music and lyrics is one that is magical and uplifting, a feast for the ears sprinkled with knowledge, truth, energy, passion, love, blood, sweat, tears, heart, soul…whatever you want to call it.

Rush’s music has that special something that places their music in a higher category than all other artists. It is that ‘something’ that we can hear coming through our speakers when the volume is turned up to 10. However, I think it’s time to turn it up to 11…

Australia is a vibrant, beautiful and lively country, a melting pot of cultures from around the world. However, the spirit of radio…uh, I mean Rush could do much good here, and vice versa. There are many fans here that would love to see, hear, and feel the awesome force and wonderment that only a live Rush show could provide, and I’m positive that our countries generous, friendly and accommodating nature will ensure an excellent experience that the band will cherish always.
