Regarding the Actions of MMA referee Dan Miragliotta

The MMA community has seen massive growth and development over the last decade, and with that development comes a sense of legitimacy. Although the sport is still undergoing social and cosmetic changes, there is a visible standard that has been set in regard to officiating and rule enforcement. Fans, fighters, and those involved in the sport in any way have come to expect a certain level of professionalism and consistency, and if that standard is not met it not only alienates fans, it endangers the livelihood of the fighters...a fighters next payday may depend on their performance in a particular fight, and not being given an opportunity to perform or receiving an unjustified loss may cripple a fighters career. A bad call by a referee may be the difference between a title fight or a farewell fight for an athlete. Dan Miragliotta is just such a referee. His inconsistency and lack of sound judgment has been clearly evidenced in several high profile fights, and his ability to remain neutral under pressure from corners/officials has been called into question.

On those grounds we ask that Dan Miragliotta be at the very least

1. Reviewed and relegated to preliminary bouts

or, optimally

2. Suspended
