Save Satino and surrounding land!

So, 21th century is coming, and every year new and new territories near Moscow are ejected for private housing. Now it's normal, that developers spitting on traditions, culture and people of territory while making their projects. Now company "Dolina imenij" (Valley of estates) has a project, which will root-reform landscape of Butovka rural district. This is a territory 15 km from old russian town of Borovsk, in the valley of Oka-basin Protva river. This is primarily zone of countryhouses, but also it's a beloved place for summer weekending for people of surrounding region. Finally, there is a place for a science/learning base 'Satino' (MSU, faculty of geography), which has 40-year old traditions of discovering territory around it. Today estate constructioning can break all of this - river will be dammed, wild forests will be crossed by roads, peaceful aborigines will be replaced by nouvorishes, and unique beautiful place wil be turned to another brick in the wall around Moscow. It's OK to build cotteges, but not to destroy all landscape!!! Say NO to this!

Наступил 21 век, и каждый год все новые и новые территории вокруг Москвы изымаются под частное строительство. Считается нормальным в процессе составления плана наплевать на традиции местности, ее культурные особенности и население. Компания "Долина имений" уже несколько лет реализует проект, в корне меняющий пейзаж сельской местности в районе деревни Бутовка, в 15 километрах от древнего русского города Боровск, на берегах реки Протвы. Сейчас это место, где в основном находятся дачи людей из близлежащего региона. Летом множество человек просто приезжает сюда отдохнуть. Также здесь находится Сатино, учебно-научная база Географического факультета МГУ, уже 40 лет ведущая исследование прилегающих территорий. Все это органично вписывается и дополняет природу. Строительство элитного жилья может сломать всю эту идиллию - реки будут запружены, нетронутые леса будут исполосованы дорогами, местных жителей сменят толпы нуворишей. В результате всего этого появится еще один типичный дачный поселок, каких вокруг Москвы тысячи. Давайте выразим протест против издевательства над природой, кому-то из нас лично дорогой! Пусть строят коттеджи - но не меняют ландшафт!
