Petition to Help Save Old Bethpage Village Restoration
As part of a proposed deficit reduction plan by County Executive Thomas Suozzi, all county museums and a number of parks, including Old Bethpage Village Restoration, will close as early as April 1.
The loss of ALL of these museums dealing with our history and the many beautiful parks would be a tragedy for the residents of Nassau County, particularly Nassau Countys children. Each year some 35,000 schoolchildren visit Old Bethpage Village Restoration.
Though this bill was to be voted upon by the legislation this past Monday 2/9/09, the vote was postponed until Monday 2/23/09. Your signature can make a difference!
