Brighton Anti-Sprawl

To:  Brighton, New York Town Board

We, the undersigned, are opposed to the rezoning of the land off Winton Rd. S. parallel to I-590 and the proposed Keating Blvd. for Anthony Costello’s proposed project as it would: be a totally inappropriate gateway into Brighton for it includes a 5-story hotel, 4,000 parking spaces and a total of 1M square feet of development; increase traffic in every direction; compromise Buckland Park which was approved and paid for by a Townwide referendum; and most importantly disregard the residential zoning (with a recommendation for no greater than low density office) for this area as stated in the Brighton Master Plan.
