Save The Eastbourne Tennis

I register my objection against the proposed ending of the Eastbourne international women’s tennis tournament. I agree that this traditional, long standing and unique tournament be spared this growing commercialisation. I object to the fact that LTA big shots think London deserves another high profile tournament to add to its massive collection that already includes Wimbledon, Queen’s Club and the upcoming 2012 Olympics. I object to removing one of the main sources of yearly revenue from a small seaside town to feed a massive city like London. I support the large number of top players who want the tournament to remain in Eastbourne including current women’s number one Justine Henin. I agree that this long standing tournament should stay in Eastbourne with it’s current status and offer rejection to any LTA ideas that wish to move it to London or any other higher profile location. Save the Eastbourne tennis!
