Post Office Ltd (Royal Mail) has announced plans to move our busy post office from it's existing location on the high street to a much smaller location by-way of a franchise agreement with WH Smith stores.

We are calling on Post Office Ltd (Royal Mail) to re-think their plans to move Shrewsbury Post Office from the High Street to the Basement of a retail outlet.

We are deeply concerned about the proposed loss of 17 fully trained post office workers jobs, problems with access and the security issues around the handling of mail and personal information as well as the impact on the community as a whole.
