Save the Bluefin-Tuna from extinction |
To: International Commision for the Conservation of Atlantic TunasThe International Commission of Atlantic Tunas had recently slashed its 2009 quota for bluefin-tuna fishing from 27,500 tons to 22,000. However this is still far above the 15,000 ton limit that marine scientists say is needed to prevent the tuna from going extinct. Environmental groups called the meeting a "disaster" and blamed the European Commission for scuttling a proposal that would have imposed stricter regulations. This is an outrage! When will people truly do enough to save the environment?! Please sign to have them reconsider.
