K2 Network to consider security alternatives

Dear employees of K2 Network,

For years now you have been continuously developing War Rock, adding maps and weapons until it has become the wonderful game it is today, us and many other players have been enjoying the gameplay it has provided for a while now.

Amongst this fantastic experience, a serious problem is forever escalating, and that problem (as I'm sure you are aware) is that of hackers and cheaters. Quite recently it has become so bad that it is quite rare to play a full round of War Rock without some form of hacker ruining the experience, it has become appalling.

We are aware that since War Rock is a free to play game there are bound to be some attempts to bypass in-game security measures but it appears that worryingly, War Rock has the most serious hacking problem of all online games.

For this reason we all must criticize the effectiveness of your choice of in-game security client, PunkBuster. Be it the program itself or the way it has been implemented we feel that this program should no longer be used for War Rock. With the appearance of hacks which will actually leave players unable to kick hackers from the game it has gotten, quite frankly, disastrous.

We are aware that there are many other security alternatives out there, the most obvious being 'nProtect GameGuard'. We plead of you that you at least look at and consider these alternatives as we feel that PunkBuster is just not good enough for a game as well developed as War Rock. We ask of you that you keep the players of War Rock informed with any progress with this matter via your website.
