A voice for All.

To:  President. George W Bush.

This campaign by the undersigned is for there to be a second next of kin where life and death decisions need to be made regarding disabled people. That the parents of disabled people can stop the execution of there loved ones. The death by starvation is wrong and we want the right of the parent to be able to have a say in their loved ones right to live. We also feel that it should be made law that if a person becomes disabled and the partner moves on with their life and adultery has taken place then it should be right for the parents to seek a divorce on their loved ones behalf. We want death by starvation abolished, as it is inhumane.

Terri was 26 years old when she suffered a cardiac arrest attributed to the lack of potassium. Terri suffered brain damage from this trauma. Terri received her food and water by means of a food tube, commonly referred to as a "straw." Terri’s other bodily functions are physically stable. Terri smiles, laughs and cries. Terri recognizes voices and responds. At times, she vocalizes sounds as if she is trying to speak. Terri is not a brain dead vegetable as characterized by her husband and legal guardian, Michael Schiavo. Terri is not on a respirator or any artificial life support. She is a living human being and needs to be granted an opportunity to recover. Terri has not had any progressive rehabilitation or arousal therapy in 7 years.

We want to help the Terri’s of this world that is the reason for this petition a voice is needed for disabled people the voice of a parent being appointed as second next of kin starvation is inhumane and we want it abolished, thank you for considering the petition by the undersigned
