We, the concerned Indian Christians who live in the United States of America are seeking justice and protection against persecution of Christians in the Indian state of Orissa. The Orissa Christians in India are being harassed, burnt, raped and killed for the only reason of their belief in Jesus Christ.

We believe that freedom of religion is one of the basic rights of any human being, as guaranteed by the Constitution of India. The Orissa government is responsible for the safety and welfare of each and every resident irrespective of their religious beliefs.

We call upon all peace and freedom loving Christians, friends of India and the International community to join us as we express our concern and support to the already affected Christians in Orissa and those who are at the risk of such religious persecution.

Let us join our hands together with those under religious persecution because of their beliefs. We believe that these Christians are being persecuted for the sole reason of their religious persuasion. We would therefore urgently request that protection and justice be provided to all those who are being subjected to persecution for their religious beliefs and that action be taken against the perpetrators immediately; that all the churches be restored without pre-condition;
