Abolish European Summer Time as soon as possible! More than 3 decades of this "energy-saving measure" - that had been in force during the two World Wars of the 20th century already - are definitely enough.











It has turned out to be nothing but a nuisance, causing increased use of (fossile) energy for higher (motorized) mobility in longer daylight, thus contributing to anthropogenic climatic change.











Also, a possible increase in economic productivity is definitely doubtful regarding the fact that people staying up late for and after sunset at 10 P.M. in the extremes of July and August have to rise for work an hour earlier in spite of their inevitable fatigue the next day.











And, finally, let (what is left of) nature in our industrial societies prevail, let us (at least roughly) follow the positions of the sun during the course of the days and the seasons.
