After the closing of Sega's online gaming service SegaNet, many gamers have been disappointed by their loss of ability to play many of these online games online. There is a solution to this problem, Sega could license, or give another company the ability to run the SegaNet services, thus allowing someone else to maintain the ability for Dreamcast users to play their favorite games online. The only costs that Sega would endure would be the domain names for all of these games, i.e. the domain names that the games automatically connect to, Sega would probably want to keep these domain names in their ownership because of property rights and such, Sega, or if Sega were to choose to transfer the domain names to the company running the new SegaNet services, would point each domain to the newly running SegaNet game servers, and the people would be able to enjoy their favorite online games again, as many Dreamcast users now would like to do. If the person would like to charge for the accounts on the new SegaNet servers, they could, but there would have to be an agreement between Sega and the other company running these services. Almost anything is possible, we would like the SegaNet online games back online, because we have missed them the last couple of years. Sega, and any other company that would like to host these services, please take this petition and the people that signed it's consideration. There is a decent userbase to warrent the transfering of the SegaNet services to another company. Thank you.
