Declare the 2008 Minnesota US Senate election null and void |
To: MInnesota State Legislature; Minnesota Supreme Court; Gov. Tim PawlentyWe, the undersigned, believe that the results of the 2008 US Senate race in Minnesota must be declared null and void and that a new election for the vacant US Senate seat must be held. Norm Coleman, Al Franken, and Dean Barkley's names shall be the only names on the ballot. This will save Minnesota taxpayers millions of dollars and prevent a potential US Supreme Court battle. We urge the State of Minnesota to require a run-off election in all future elections when initial results give a difference of less than 500 votes between the top two candidates.
Sincerely,
The Declare the 2008 Minnesota US Senate election null and void Petition to MInnesota State Legislature; Minnesota Supreme Court; Gov.
