My signature to this letter/petiton serves as a request for November 1st to be named "Be Sensitive Day" on or before 2010.
I believe a Be Sensitive Day will assist charitable non-profit organizations by bring attention to their missions, efforts and achievments as well as recognition to their donors, sponsors, spokespersons, volunteers and other supporters of humanitarian services.
As a citizens of the United States, I believe we have a responsibility to help bring public awareness to the financial challenges of charitable nonprofit organizations who make a significant difference in the common good and provide voice and value to those most in need; regardless of race, gender, economic status, national origin or other identities.
I respectfully request of you to vote yes for November 1st to be named "Be Sensitive Day", as a national celebration of philanthropy.
