Taking A Stand Against Septa |
To: city of PhiladelphiaWe, riders of Septa, are asking the city of Philadelphia to properly investigate, evaluate and uphold Septa to the very standards it sets forth for itself.
Joseph M. Casey, the general manager of Septa, states on their website, “I believe we can make a major difference by focusing on the fundamentals – providing safe, reliable, convenient, and comfortable service, and I am committed to accomplishing this by making customer service and courtesy, cleanliness, communications, and convenience our first priorities, at every level of the organization.”
As riders of Septa, we feel it is necessary to voice our concerns on Septa’s bus services. We simply find it intolerable to have busses show up over 10 minutes late or have entire routes not show up, on a daily basis. We are riders who have called in to Septa’s customer service line, only to be brushed off. We are riders who have filled out complaint forms on Septa’s website, to never receive a response back. We are riders who believe if Septa cannot uphold its own standards, the city of Philadelphia should look out for its citizens and do something to help.
We implore the city of Philadelphia to stand up for its citizens and help the people who rely on public transportation. Please help by properly investigating, evaluating and forcing Septa to clean up its act and properly provide the service they are claiming to offer.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
