Singapore LOTR Trilogy Extended Edition Marathon Screening 2004

LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY EXTENDED EDITION MARATHON SCREENING 2004

We, the listed and undersigned, want to first express our appreciation and
gratitude to Warner Brothers Singapore and New Line Cinema for bringing the
Lord Of The Rings Trilogy to Singapore for the past 3 years.

Ever since The Fellowship Of The Ring was first screened in Singapore in
December 2001, the audience response to the LOTR Trilogy had been
overwhelming and positive. Each of the movies had opened to a fully booked
theater and this went on into the weekend screenings, and even for several
weeks during its run in Singapore cinema.

The LOTR Trilogy Movies Marathon Screening done in December 2003 and
February 2004 had also seen an overwhelming response from the Singapore Fans
that tickets to the screenings were sold out within days and even hours of
them being put on sale. A large number of Singapore LOTR fans have also
expressed genuine and long-term interest in this movie trilogy that they
watch it several times at the cinemas during the movies run here, other than
follow its progress in the mass media and collected its official
merchandise.

Accordingly, with the upcoming release of The Return Of The King Extended
Edition in December 2004 and LOTR Trilogy Extended Edition Movies Marathon
to be conducted all over USA this December, we would like to present this on-
going petition and respectfully request the following on the behalf of the
Singapore Lord Of The Rings Fans:

1) The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy Extended Edition Movies Marathon be
conducted in Singapore this December 2004;

2) The LOTR Movies Marathon be conducted at major cinemas like Shaw Lido,
Cathay Orchard Cineleisure, Eng Wah Suntec and Golden Village Plaza;

3) The LOTR Movies Marathon be conducted in such a way that it starts with
the Morning screening of The Fellowship Of The Ring Extended Edition,
followed by the Afternoon screening of The Two Towers Extended Edition and
Evening screening of The Return Of The King Extended Edition, as per how the
Movies Marathon was conducted in December 2003.
