We the undersigned citizens of the United States, Canada and concerned citizens from other nations, hereby petition General Mills Incorporated as follows:

We petition General Mills to display the new champions, an NYPD police officer, PAPD police officer and a FDNY firefighter on a box of Wheaties breakfast cereal.

Since 1934 the breakfast of champions has traditionally displayed sports heroes. In the aftermath of September 11th we have new heroes, the men and women of the NYPD, PAPD and FDNY.

Let us show them what heroes they are and let us show our children what heroes they are. As an American institution and a publicly traded company on the NY stock exchange you have a duty to honor them in this way.

Being killed-in-the-line-of-duty serving and protecting your country is not the worst thing that can happen to youbeing forgotten is.
