Dear Fixer,

We are big fans of your daily column in the Toronto Star. However, we can only imagine that you are getting tired of chasing litterbugs and getting potholes filled! We offer you a new challenge: a city-wide problem that needs fixing.

All the transit shelters in the former city of Toronto were branded with the name of the intersecting street, to help riders and tourists find their way around town. When Mel Lastman unveiled the design for the new TTC shelters in 2001, the name BAY ST was written on the side panel. But since that day, Viacom has installed hundreds of the new models across the city, all with no street names.

We call on you, Toronto's chief Fixer, to help solve this mystery. No one is better suited for the job. With your help, we can stop the nasty rumour that Toronto is the city where the streets have no name.
