Reinstate South Harrison's Officers

To:  South Harrison Twp. Committee

We, the undersigned, call upon South Harrsion’s township committee to reinstate Officer N. Barbetta and S.L.E.O T. McWain.

Seeing as two out of the five voting committeemen’s previous interactions with said officers could have influenced their vote, we feel that the vote was not ethically and morally sound.

We, the undersigned, ask that Resolution R-09-108 which called for a reduction in force of Police Department, eliminating two (2) positions effective Septmeber 18, 2009:
Elimination of one (1) Special Law Enforcement Officer (SLEO) Position with the Township of South Harrison Police Department;
Reduction in force of one (1) Police Officer by the way of lay off of the police officer with the least seniority.
