The Humble Petition of Your Subjects is that the contribution to Britain made by Mr Peter Stringfellow be given the honour of royal recognition.

For Mr Peter Stringfellow has contributed both culturally and economically to the strength of our nation. He has, through his entertainments, added to the gaiety of our national life. He has risen from modest beginnings to fame and fortune, despite adversity, through his own tenacity and persistence. In doing so he has shown by example that it is possible for any of your subjects, no matter from whence they have come, to rise and prosper if they have the ambition and vision.

As a result, today foreign tourists travel from all over the world to visit his entertainments, contributing in no small way to the health of the economy and tourist industry.

His charitable works over the years are many and varied, he has promoted racial equality, and he has hosted political events to raise funds for worthy causes and parties.

His cultural significance is widely recognised in modern society.

His tenacity and spirit are an example to your subjects.

Your petitioners humbly pray that your Majesty will be graciously pleased to recognise the good works of Peter Stringfellow and confer upon him the honour of becoming a Knight of the Realm.

And Your Petitioners, as in duty bound, will ever pray.
