Free Aladdin Sisalem

To:  Minister for Immigration - Senator Amanda Vanstone

Please join us in our petition for Aladdin Sisalem.

Aladdin Sisalem is a refugee who made it to the Australian migration zone only to be refused his right to seek asylum. The government’s excuse? He didn’t ask for the proper form by name although he repeatedly asked for protection and asylum in Australia.

Now the Australian government has him in solitary confinement on Manus Island PNG which is run by IOM.

It is both cruel and heartless to confine indefinitely a stateless man who can not be repatriated to his country of birth.

We ask that Aladdin be given his right as clearly specified under the 1951 refugee conventions and that he be processed as a refugee in Australia.
