North Pleasant Street Pot Holes

To:  Amherst Select Committe and DPW

We, the undersigned, ask that the Town of Amherst fix the roads on North Pleasant Street, especially in front of Worcester Dining Commons, by May 1st. We understand that the conditions are not yet correct for permanent work; however there are short term solutions which are not being used to their full potential. The roads have become unsafe for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists, and have already caused serious monetary hardships for members of our community. Because of this, we, members of the Amherst community, feel that the pot holes represent a hazard which can no longer be tolerated.
