The idea here is that many of us think there are too many days in a year, and days are never long enough. What we propose is to slow the rotation of the Earth, giving us more hours in a day, and fewer days in a year.

Currently, 1 year = 365.25 days * 24 hours (8766 hours).
By our plan, 1 year = 243.5 days * 36 hours (8766 hours).

We would maintain a 7-day week, but longer days will allow significantly more time for family or recreation, putting in those few extra hours at the office to get work finished, or even just to catch up on much-needed sleep.

Think what you could accomplish with 6 more hours of day, every day...and 6 more hours of night! What else could you squeeze into your tight schedule that you currently don't have time for?

It also means that we'd have a leap year every second year, rather than every 4, making it much less awkward for leap-babies to fit into the rest of society.

The benefits are innumerable. Sign up here, support a change that will make for a better future for our children!
